News: St John Woods Residence in KL launched today
St John Woods Residence, a new luxury, high rise apartment development in Kuala Lumpur, has been launched today.
Developed by AM-EL Group, St John Woods Residence comprises 48 apartment units housed in a 33-storey tower. It is located off Jalan Raja Chulan near Istana Pahang, Menara, Maybank, Menara Olympia and Bursa Malaysia. The new development benefits from an expansive vista over the greenery at Bukit Nanas Forest Reserve.
"St John Woods Residence offers high quality product at a competitive price which suits both end users and investor purchasers," said David Neubronner, Head of Singapore Residential Project Sales at Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL).
Named after the famous St John's Institution at Jalan Bukit Nanas, St John Woods Residence is situated in a single tower with east and west wings offering only one apartment per floor. It offers units comprising three-plus-one bedroom measuring 3,660 sq ft and four-plus-one bedrooms of 4,489 sq ft. It also features luxury facilities like an infinity edge pool with views of PetronasTwinTowers.
JLL said a private preview for the project will be held in Singapore on 23 February at the Hilton Singapore., as well as at HomeGuru's Malaysia Property Showcase 2012 at the Orchard Hotel on 25-26 February.
"Kuala Lumpur is a familiar city to many Singaporeans and Malaysia is considered a safe investment destination with potential for capital growth," said Neubronner.
"Given the additional buyers stamp duty measures imposed by the Singapore government in December 2011 on Singapore property purchases, there is a push factor which encourages high networth Singaporeans to consider investing in overseas properties."
Selling price for new development starts from RM 2.8 million, or around RM800 psf.
